President: Harry Bodaan ---------------------------------------------------------- The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Aguirre is an association of small, medium and large businesses who share a desire to improve and fortify economic activity within the region. The Chamber is a private, non-profit, association which operates for communal well-being. It was constituted on September 13, 1995 as an initiative by a group of business owners who were concerned by the Municipal Tax Laws, Tax Justice, Property Taxes and the destiny of the sectors we represent. The Mission Statement of the Chamber of Commerce is as follows: To be a membership organization dedicated to meeting the identifyed needs of the Quepos area by fostering economic opportunity and a favorable business climate within the region. Our customers are first and foremost our members, and secondly the business community and those with a vested interest in the Canton de Aguirre.
